Your new company is an established multidisciplinary consultancy, delivering engineering and environmental services throughout the UK, to an impressive and diverse range of clients. Founded in 2008, they are well on track to hit commercial and engineering targets over the next 5 years. Currently operating out of 5 offices, yours located in South Manchester, they continue to grow, aiming to double turnover to £8m by 2030.
Your new role
To support the expansion of the Digital Design and Modelling and Engineering teams, a Senior Civil Technician is required. You will work closely with engineers and technicians preparing detailed drawings using AutoCAD, Civil3D/Site3D and Vehicle Tracking software across residential, education, commercial, industrial, health, rail, infrastructure, energy and waste projects.
What you\’ll need to succeed
- 10 years working as a technician working on infrastructure, highways, drainage or heavy civil projects
- Excellent Civil3D/Site3D skills
- Causeway Flow experience (ideal, not essential)
- SuDS design experience
- Highways adoption application (S278/38)
- Water authority application knowledge (S104/106)
- Corridor design, road design and cut and fill analysis
