About the Role: If you are hands-on in a financial environment and have great communication skills, we want to hear from you. An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Finance Team - to be part of the team that provides efficient and effective financial support and data to all sections of the organisation in a professional manner. You will be efficiently and accurately processing invoices and claims in accordance with agreed processes, procedures and deadlines in the organisation’s financial systems. The Finance Team works across all Ledgers including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and General Ledger. The role includes working with the Agresso/Unit4 Business World Integrated Finance System, Microsoft products including Excel, Outlook & Word and travel booking systems to facilitate many aspects of the role. We strive to improve and be as effective and efficient as we can delivering to tight deadlines.
Required Qualifications and Experience: To be successful in this role, you will bring the following qualifications and experience:
- You will have a minimum of 5 GCSEs (Grade A to C) or Grade 4 and above or equivalent including Maths & English.
- Recent & significant experience working in a finance office.
- Be able to demonstrate knowledge & understanding of the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functionality; processing invoices, raising sales invoices and recording income.
- Dealing with customers/suppliers.
- Working with financial software packages and spreadsheets.
