At Cotmanhay Infant and Nursery School we have a strong whole school ethos that is reflected in our motto ‘Celebrate, Inspire, Nurture and Succeed’.

Children and their families are the heart of what we do. Providing a safe, caring and supportive environment in their early years, means children can have confidence as they move through the rest of their lives.

We are excited to have a vacancy for a key team member. The Family Support Worker will be a Designated Safeguarding lead and will be at the heart of ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our children. There will be potential for increased hours.

The role encompasses providing early help, supporting families, identifying those at risk of harm and supporting our staff team. You will be part of a wider team including 2 DSLs, 2 deputy DSLs, an Attendance Welfare Officer, the SENDCO and Headteacher. We work closely together and support each other.

The successful candidate will join us as soon as is possible from September 2025.
