We are currently recruiting for a Catering Assistant to work as a valued member of our dedicated kitchen team. You will support the kitchen supervisor in all areas of service at St Mary’s Primary School, Glossop. This may involve working at a production unit or at a servery unit. Tasks include food preparation, cooking, portion control, allergen compliance, and preparing the dining room for service.
Our Catering Assistants are the point of contact with our customers. While serving meals, all team members help ensure food hygiene and health & safety regulations are followed. We aim to create positive lunchtime experiences for our customers, so it is essential that you demonstrate an attitude appropriate to the school environment.
Successful completion of the NVQ Food Hygiene Certificate will be required upon appointment.
