Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join award-winning Derbyshire Catering Service. Are you passionate about food and enjoy working as part of a team? We are currently recruiting for a Catering Assistant to work as a valued member of our dedicated kitchen team at Little Eaton Primary School. This will involve working in a production unit. Possible tasks include food preparation, cooking, portion control, allergen compliance and preparing the dining room for service.
Responsibilities
- Our Catering Assistants are our point of contact with our hungry customers. Whilst serving meals to our customers all team members help ensure that food hygiene and health & safety regulations are followed.
- We want to help make good lunchtime memories for our customers so it is essential that you can demonstrate an attitude which is appropriate to the school environment.
Qualifications
- Successful completion of the NVQ food hygiene certificate will be required upon appointment.
