Come and assist with the management of Leicestershire Police\’s Vehicle Removal Scheme.
The Vehicle Fleet Team is looking to recruit a Senior Vehicle Removal Assistant on a full-time permanent basis. While based at Leicestershire Force Headquarters, there may be a requirement to work temporarily at other locations within the Force area, undertaking similar roles.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the release and disposal of recovered vehicles, managing their disposal by auction when appropriate.
- Represent the Force in relation to Vehicle Recovery at National and Regional levels.
- Help develop Vehicle Recovery work systems and processing procedures.
- Liaise with contractors, police officers, insurance companies, and other interested and third parties.
The must haves
- Experience with administrative duties such as invoicing, accounting, and report writing.
- Ability to defuse difficult situations and effectively deal with distressed or irate individuals.
- Working knowledge of Data Protection and Computer Misuse legislation.
- Ability to carry out audits and inspections of contractors\’ premises.
