Working within People Services to support our force, providing specialist HR advice and contributing to our organisation’s priorities. As an experienced Senior HR Advisor, you’ll be the single point of contact for all HR advice and support to managers. You will manage your own caseload covering a range of employee relations issues. You’ll work in partnership with stakeholders to identify and analyse trends, providing recommendations to improve our service. This is a rewarding role where you’ll use your CIPD Level 5 qualification and knowledge of employment law to ensure best practice.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting and advising on complex and sensitive cases, ensuring impartiality.
  • Representing HR on panels to consider attendance, performance, grievance, and disciplinary issues.
  • Coaching, managing, and providing training to develop people management skills and confidence with HR issues.

The Must Haves

  • Experience working within an HR Advisor role, providing specialist HR advice and guidance.
  • Understanding employment law and employee relations.
  • Experience coaching and influencing managers, building strong stakeholder relationships.
