Lead real‑time intelligence to reduce risk and protect communities. Oversee the delivery of a 24‑hour intelligence service and ensure robust processes are in place to reduce risk and threat in a timely manner. Ensure incoming incidents are reviewed effectively, intelligence research is completed to a high standard, and notifications are accurately allocated.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading and developing staff, supporting wellbeing, and managing performance and attendance to ensure the team operates effectively around the clock.
  • Using specialised knowledge to retrieve information from computer systems and update databases.
  • Ensuring a professional level of intelligence research and development is achieved.
  • Line managing staff including responsibility for performance and attendance management, wellbeing, and staff duties.

You must have:

  • Ability to identify and manage change.
  • Knowledge and experience working in Intelligence and Information.
  • Coaching and mentoring experience.
