Deliver research that shapes policing strategy and makes an impact. We have 2 unique graduate placement opportunities to support the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner (OPCC) as a Research Intern on a 12‑month contract. You’ll carry out high‑quality, independent research, using a range of sources to analyse data and produce clear reports and briefings that support strategic decision‑making. You’ll also assist key teams with projects, casework, and governance priorities, while contributing to digital campaigns by creating engaging social media content aligned to the Police & Crime Plan, gaining valuable experience in a dynamic and impactful environment.
You’ll be:
- Researching current and emerging issues regarding policing, community safety, commissioning and partnership work.
- Delivering rapid response and long‑term research projects.
- Producing clear briefings and presenting findings, trends and implications to support decision‑making.
You must:
- Be in your final year of study or have recently completed a degree in a relevant subject (e.g. politics, criminology, law etc…).
- Have experience developing and using analytical tools to collate and interpret data.
- Have previously maintained files and administration records.
