Lead high‑quality, centrally delivered forensic services across the East Midlands. As our Regional Head of Central Services, you will lead the delivery of effective forensic services for the East Midlands Special Operations Unit (EMSOU), ensuring their continuous development and long‑term sustainability. You will also ensure compliance with relevant codes of practice, alongside national, regional, and local policing priorities.
Responsibilities:
- Setting the strategic direction and delivery for Central Service functions.
- Owning budgets and financial planning, maximising resources and delivering value for money.
- Driving innovation and continuous improvement, challenging existing approaches to improve performance.
Qualifications:
- Management experience in a forensic setting at a strategic and operational level.
- Ability to interpret complex data to make evidence‑based decisions and turn objectives into deliverables.
- Knowledge of police policies and procedures surrounding evidence capture, processing and reporting.
