We have an exciting opportunity for an Intelligence Development Officer to join our Specialist Crime Intelligence team on a full-time permanent basis, working 37 hours per week on a shift rota.
Intelligence Development Officers are enablers for all investigations and play a critical role in formulating a risk-based approach to tackling criminality and protecting the vulnerable.
What you’ll be doing
- Identify, collate, research, develop and disseminate intelligence across Derbyshire Constabulary.
- Play a critical role in formulating a risk-based approach to tackling criminality and protecting the vulnerable.
The must haves
- Experience of accurately checking, recording and retrieving information from databases, and of making links between different data sets; with the ability to identify relevant and salient detail.
- Previous practical experience in researching and developing information to aid decision making.
