Turn intelligence into action against threat and harm. Counter Terrorism Policing East Midlands (CTPEM) are looking for a dynamic and high performing Intelligence Assessor. In this role, you will identify and reduce threat, harm and risk by assessing, managing, and developing intelligence, ensuring appropriate sharing and compliance.

You will identify gaps and opportunities, establish collection strategies to address them and make informed decisions on counter-terrorism relevance in support of unit objectives, while maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and governance. You’ll be working with partner agencies, keeping ownership of intelligence development and investigation. Recording information on relevant systems to support intelligence gatherings and operations. Researching across multiple systems and datasets to draw accurate conclusions.

You must have experience assessing and developing intelligence to manage threat, risk, and harm. Investigative experience in a policing or prosecution environment, including evidence capturing and intelligence development. Ability to manage risk and make decisions on behalf of Chief Officers.
