Delivering clear financial insight to drive operational success! As Head of Finance for Derbyshire Constabulary, you’ll act as Deputy Section 151 Officer, working closely with the Director of Finance and Assets, and leading the Strategic Finance and Financial Services team, ensuring effective financial management and efficient utilisation of resources. Residency in the UK for the past 5 consecutive years at the time of application required due to MV vetting checks.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading the Strategic Finance, Corporate Finance and Financial Services Team
  • Managing the department's objectives
  • Briefing the Chief Constable and Chief Finance Officer and working with the Office of Police and Crime Commissioner

The must haves:

  • CCAB qualified with significant post qualification management experience
  • Experience of leading a senior financial position in a multi-functional team across a large complex organisation
  • Experience of prioritising organisational and departmental objectives and delivering results
