The predicted salary is between 24000 - 28000 £ per year.

Provide safe and efficient facilities work. The Assets team are looking to recruit two Facilities Officers to be proactive and engaging with end users to deliver a quality customer service across the force area. You will assist with a wide range of general basic maintenance and technical tasks Force wide. This can include maintenance checks on the force estate, enabling CCTV system access, fire alarm and panel testing and movement of office furniture and equipment.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Be responsible for delivery and security tracking of goods and exhibits/property, signatures required for exhibits or deliveries to be recorded and tracked in real time recording.
  • Undertake health and safety checks in all aspects of estate facilities and report any defects.
  • Help move Police vehicles to and from Workshops for repair, MOT, service and safety inspection.

The must haves:

  • Proven skills in a commercial goods delivery driver/courier role, delivering a range of items for signed, tracked packages to customers.
  • Experience of loading/unloading vans and manual handling of goods from one location to another.
  • Experience of completing minor technical work, installing white boards, moving or fixing furniture while ensuring health and safety requirements are met.
  • Due to the role requirements the post holder must hold a full, clean UK driving license with category B.
