Counter Terrorism Policing – East Midlands (CTP-EM) is looking to build a pass list for a dynamic and high-performing Counter Terrorism Security Advisor.
We work as part of the national Counter Terrorism Policing network to keep people safe by preventing, deterring, and investigating terrorist and extremist activity. We collaborate with various partners to reduce the threat and fear of terrorism and other national security threats, aligning our efforts with the four pillars of HM Government\’s CONTEST strategy: PURSUE, PREVENT, PROTECT, & PREPARE.
Salary: £33,264 – £40,893
You’ll be
- Resolving problems through decision-making based on professional expertise.
- Delivering national and regional Prepare and Protect priorities.
- Supporting local authorities with public protection obligations and providing guidance.
You Must
- Hold or be willing to achieve City & Guilds Licentiateship in Counter Terrorism Security Management (Level 4) and AET Level 3.
- Have experience working professionally in a confidential setting.
- Have an awareness of terrorism and domestic extremism and responses to them.
