AtDerby Moor Spencer Academy, we take great pride in the facilities that we offerour students. Our school was re-built in 2013 and now features a welcomingentrance plaza, state of the art technology and a diverse range of learningspaces and sports facilities.
We are seeking to appoint an individual who:
- Has experience of working in the Derby CitySocial Care setting.
- To assist with the Pastoral needs of Studentsand their families in and around school
- To collect, accurately record, usingmanagement information systems, and critically analyse all relevant information and take appropriate actions tofulfil statutory responsibilities to promote and safeguard the well-being andinterests of the child/young people
- To ensure the well-being and safety of thechild/young person is paramount through analysing all necessary information tocomplete assessments that comply with statutory requirements.
- To create and plan for children in need ofprotection and children in care and vulnerable students involving multi agencypartners according to need.
- To be part of the cover / buddy rota for FirstAid provision (training will be provided) in the absence of the Primary FirstAider.
