Full Time (37 hours a week), Term Time only, Temporary (up to 1 year potentially)
We are looking to appoint a Learning SupportAssistant who will be a member of our Learning Support team, under theleadership and supervision of the SENCO and Deputy SENCO.
The role involves providing in-class supportand small group interventions for young people, creating a calm and purposeful learningenvironment to allow students to grow academically, socially and emotionally. Strongcommunication and professional relationships are essential with students, staffand families, as well as external agencies. We are looking for someone with highexpectations for all students, in line with the school ethos of allowing allstudents to shine brightly.
The successful candidate will form an integralpart of the reviewing student progress and setting targets to support developmentof young people. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference to livesof children, particularly those with additional needs.
