Role Overview

The post holder will support the Head of Sixth Form with the operational running of the Sixth Form. This includes the recruitment, induction, retention and academic monitoring of all Sixth Form students. They provide teaching and learning support to secure excellent standards of achievement, attendance, punctuality and overall academic standards, while supporting enrichment, personal development and wellbeing. The role also involves supporting students in their progression to Post 18 pathways, liaising with appropriate bodies and organising events to maximise progression from Post 16 to the next phase. This role offers an exciting opportunity to play an integral part in an ever‑expanding and competitive Sixth Form.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Head of Sixth Form with the operational running of the Sixth Form, including recruitment, induction, retention and academic monitoring of all Sixth Form students.
  • Provide teaching and learning support to secure excellent standards of achievement, attendance, punctuality and overall academic standards, while supporting enrichment, personal development and wellbeing.
  • Support students in their progression to Post 18 pathways, liaise with appropriate bodies and organise events to maximise progression from Post 16 to the next phase.
