Full-time permanent stipendiary role. Buxton is a thriving market town in the beautiful landscape of the High Peak of Derbyshire known for its cultural heritage as a spa town, and its internationally renowned Buxton International Festival and Opera House.
We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, pastorally hearted, missional priest to work collaboratively with us to:
- deepen relationships with God through developing discipleship, lay ministry and leadership
- serve our local contexts developing community partnerships and new worshipping communities
- make new disciples through visitor engagement, creative and performing arts
- extend our diversity and outreach by developing a communication strategy
- equip our core team for mission leading collaboratively and supervising the Team Vicar, staff and volunteers
- shape our structures for mission holding oversight of 5 churches and supporting the Team Vicar in welcoming 3 new churches into the Team
- sustain our resources leading on income generation, generosity and financial resilience
