A fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and inspiring Teacher of Maths to join Derby Cathedral School as it continues to grow in terms of numbers and success.
Qualifications:
- Good quality Honours degree in an appropriate discipline.
- PGCE or equivalent in secondary education with relevant subject specialism.
- Qualified Teacher Status.
Derby Cathedral School is an 11–19 secondary school that opened in September 2018. The school has had a successful start and is currently oversubscribed for every year group. We currently have over 1200 students across Years 7 to 13 following the opening of our brand‑new sixth form provision in September 2023. The school equips students with skills and qualifications that will enable them to access high‑quality careers in and around the city of Derby and beyond. The curriculum offer is broad and balanced and is enhanced by strong links with the Cathedral. The curriculum and our character values, based on the acronym FAITH, are a key part of the school vision and represent a platform from which we build high levels of personal development, well‑being and achievement from Year 7 onwards.
