A fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and inspiring Behaviour and Resilience Mentor to join Derby Cathedral School as it continues to grow in terms of numbers and success.

The successful candidate will have:

  • At least five A*-C GCSEs, including English and Mathematics.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes.

Derby Cathedral School is an 11‑19 secondary school that opened in September 2018, established by Derby Diocesan Academy Trust (DDAT) and Derby Cathedral. The school is currently over‑subscribed for every year group and has over 1,200 students across Years 7 to 13, following the opening of a new sixth‑form provision in September 2023. It is the first Church of England secondary school in the Diocese, located close to the city centre with easy access to the surrounding countryside. The curriculum offers a broad and balanced programme enhanced by strong links with the Cathedral. Character values based on the acronym FAITH form a key part of the school vision, supporting high levels of personal development, well‑being and achievement from Year 7 onwards.
