Matchday Safety Steward
Derby County Football Club is seeking a Matchday Safety Steward to join Stadium Control at Pride Park Stadium.
Salary
£12.71 per hour (rising to £13.06 upon successful completion of Level 2 Spectator Safety Training).

Permanent (Part time).

Responsibilities
- Support the matchday safety operation by providing assistance, direction, and safety advice to spectators in a polite, courteous, and helpful manner.
- Build rapport with fans throughout the season, maintaining a helpful, approachable presence.
- Attend 70% of all home league fixtures (including weekend and evening work) and work unsociable hours as required.
- Work using own initiative and as part of a team, following stadium safety protocols.
Qualifications and Experience
- Previous customer service experience.
- Previous stewarding or crowd management experience (desired).
- Knowledge of Pride Park Stadium.
- Flexibility to work unsociable hours.
- Confident, resilient, and self‑motivated with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Work using own initiative and as part of a team.
- Aged 18 or over.
- Have a Level 2 Spectator Safety training qualification; club will provide if not already obtained.
Desirable Attributes
- GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English to Grade C or above
- Security Industry Authority (SIA) Accreditation
