The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, developing, and supporting talented young footballers in a positive, supportive, and professional learning environment, providing a pathway into our Academy system.
Key Role Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver engaging football coaching sessions to support player development over 12-24 weeks.
- Conduct weekly player and session evaluations.
- Coach players across the under 7\βs to under 11\βs age groups.
- Liaise with parents and carers to foster a positive, welcoming environment.
- Participate in relevant CPD and Coach Competency Framework activities.
- Act as a positive role model for all players.
- Support players through the games programme.
Experience and Skills:
- Experience coaching players aged U6-U11.
- Experience managing and leading a team.
- Ability to motivate individuals and teams.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Knowledge of young player talent identification and development.
