Derby County are looking for a creative, driven and strategically minded Social Media Lead to join their Press and Media department.
The Role
You will oversee and develop the club’s social media presence across all platforms, growing audiences, increasing supporter engagement, building brand awareness and delivering commercial value. Working across Pride Park Stadium and Moor Farm Training Centre, you will collaborate with Media, Marketing, RamsTV and Commercial colleagues on best-in-class campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver the club’s social media strategy, aligned with brand, marketing, communications and commercial goals
- Drive audience growth, supporter engagement and brand awareness across all platforms
- Plan, create and publish engaging content
- Lead social coverage of matchdays, club events and campaigns
- Work with Media, Marketing, RamsTV and Commercial colleagues on campaigns
- Deliver commercial value for partners through social content
About You
- Proven experience leading social media for a brand or sports organisation
- Strong content creation and strategic planning skills
- A deep understanding of social platforms, trends and analytics
- Creative, driven and able to work matchdays
