Derby College Group (DCG) are recruiting a Student Services Advisor to join our Student Services team based at our Broomfield Hall campus, and supporting our other campuses as required. DCG supports 13,000 students studying full-time, part-time or via distance learning on a wide range of programmes including academic, vocational, apprenticeships and higher education. The student is at the heart of everything we do, and we pride ourselves on providing an excellent level of customer service throughout their journey at DCG.
The Student Services team is the first port of call for students throughout their entire journey with DCG, from the application/admissions process to when they require information, advice or guidance (IAG). Within this role you'll be a pivotal member of the Student Services team providing this important support to students in person, via telephone or email. You'll be part of a strong flexible customer focussed team who are dedicated to supporting our students through their journey with us.
About you
To excel within this role, you'll have great interpersonal and communication skills, be highly organised and have good attention to detail. You'll also have knowledge of data Protection and GDPR compliance and have your NVQ level 3 in Advice and Guidance or be willing to work towards this with support from us.
