Derby College Group (DCG) are recruiting a part time Information Resource Technologist to join our Libraries team. This is a great opportunity to provide an excellent customer experience to library users, including students and staff. This role will be based at the Roundhouse and Broomfield with the requirement to work at the other sites (Joseph Wright Centre and Ilkeston) on occasion and during initial training.

In this varied and rewarding role, you will work closely with our dedicated team of Information Resource Technologists to deliver high-quality support to both students and staff. You will help students access appropriate information sources, staff the enquiry counter, provide basic IT support, and deliver workshops and training sessions on library services. You will also work in partnership with curriculum staff to ensure that library resources effectively support teaching and learning across the College.

A Level 2 qualification in Administration or Customer Service would be desirable; however, if you do not currently hold this, the College can support you to achieve it. It is essential that you hold Level 2 qualifications in both Maths and English.
