Derby College Group is delighted to offer an exciting part-time opportunity for an MFL Teacher to join our Academic Studies team at the Joseph Wright Centre. You will be part of a high-performing, forward-thinking department with an excellent record of student success and a strong commitment to delivering outstanding learning experiences.
This is an exciting opportunity to inspire students in French and Spanish, delivering high-quality teaching aligned to the AQA specification. You will design engaging, culturally rich lessons that develop confidence, fluency, and strong progress across all language skills. Alongside excellent subject delivery, you will promote positive behaviour, nurture students' personal development, and support them in making successful next steps into further study, employment, or university.
About You
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated MFL teacher who puts students at the centre of their work. With experience teaching French and Spanish (AQA specification), you will bring creativity, high expectations, and a commitment to excellent progress. Confident in planning and delivering high-quality lessons and assessment, you will inspire and challenge students of all abilities. You must hold a relevant degree in French or Spanish and a Level 5/6 teaching qualification (PGCE/CertEd). A proven record of strong student achievement and the ability to teach a range of modules in both languages are essential.
