We are recruiting a Teacher of Carpentry and Joinery to join our Built Environment team based at our Roundhouse Campus in Pride Park, Derby. This is a fantastic opportunity to pass on your specialist knowledge and prepare our students for the next phase of their lives. In this role your focus will be providing an outstanding learning experience, through the delivery of engaging teaching, learning and assessment. Colleagues that have recently joined us directly from industry and are new to teaching have found that they have a better work-life balance due to the fixed hours and less time spent travelling!
About you
You will ideally possess industry experience in the relevant field, along with a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in the subject. Within this role you will be pivotal to the success of the Built environment provision delivering to students from across the East Midlands. If you are not a qualified teacher, no problem! If you have industry knowledge, we will help you achieve Qualified Teacher Status.
