Derby College Group is seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to provide dedicated support for Maths classes, including GCSE resits and Functional Skills, at our Broomfield Hall campus.
As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), you'll play a key role in supporting Maths teaching for post-16 learners, including GCSE resits and Functional Skills. Working closely with teaching staff, you'll provide in-class support, deliver small group activities, and help students develop confidence in numeracy.
You’ll have experience supporting post-16 learners and a good understanding of the GCSE and Functional Skills Maths curriculum. A Level 2 qualification in Maths and English is essential, along with a Level 3 qualification. Ideally, you'll hold HLTA status.
