Are you an experienced employability support professional? Do you have significant experience supporting young people with complex barriers into employment? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our Derby Jobs Employment and Skills Team as a Supported Employment Officer, under the new national Youth Guarantee Trailblazer.
The role will manage a caseload of young people (16-24), with complex barriers, providing intensive one-to-one employment support, removing barriers, supporting access to opportunities, increasing confidence and maximising independence to transition young people into employment. This role is an intensive support role, encouraging and sustaining engagement and employment. The role sits within the Derby Jobs Employment and Skills Hub; connecting jobseekers to inclusive opportunities. We work across services and with a range of partners and employers to create a hub of support and opportunities for our Young People in the city.
