Overview
Shared Lives Carers provide support to vulnerable adults in a home environment. This involves sharing your home, family and community life with the person you support. We are looking for carers who can support adults from the age of 18 years old, for an occasional night/weekend or long-term support. You will be self-employed and you will receive an allowance from Derby City Council for the support you provide. You will receive a comprehensive training package and have ongoing support from your Shared Lives Co-ordinator.

- Support the person to lead a fulfilling and active life and help them learn life skills.

- Flexible, patient and practical with a person-centred approach.
