Derby City Council is seeking a Specialist SEND Teacher (0.8fte) to join the Specialist Teaching and Psychology Service. The post involves conducting observations, assessments and report writing to support EHC needs assessments, with in-person visits to schools, homes and early years settings in Derby City.
The successful candidate will have the National Award for SENCOs (or a PG Cert/PG Diploma in SEND), excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, and may deliver training.
