The Senior Debt Recovery and Revenue Protection Officer is a customer-facing, field-based role that combines debt recovery and Penalty Charge Notice enforcement. Candidates need proven experience dealing directly with customers, supervising a team, and working confidently with Microsoft Excel and data analysis to support evidence-based decisions.

If you have strong communication, clear verbal and written skills, plus the ability to handle difficult or challenging customer interactions the role would be ideal for you.

The Opportunity

In the role of Senior Debt Recovery and Revenue Protection Officer, here’s an example of what you’ll be doing to make an impact:
As a Senior Debt Recovery and Revenue Protection Officer, you'll be out in the City working to recover money owed to the Council particularly around Penalty Charge Notices. Alongside the fieldwork, you'll use Excel and data analysis to track cases, spot patterns, and support decisions with solid evidence. You'll also supervise a team, so some leadership experience is important.
