Stonehill Nursery School

Hours: Part-time 19 Hours 30 Minutes (Wednesday, Thursday and Friday)

Contract type: 1-year fixed term contract from 1 January 2027

Stonehill Nursery is a maintained nursery school for 2, 3 and 4-year-olds. It is federated with Dale Community Primary School and is located in the heart of the city. We are looking to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic SENDCo to make a difference to cover a maternity leave contract. You will:

  • Be a reflective early year's practitioner, striving for excellence within your own practice
  • Have experience working with children with special educational needs
  • Enable children to reach their full potential socially and academically
  • Have a nurturing approach, caring for the whole child
  • Be proactive to make a difference to the lives of children
  • Be an excellent team player
  • Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, build and maintain strong relationships with children, staff, parents and carers, governors and the wider local community
