Derby Homes Limited is an arm's length management organisation (ALMO) created by Derby City Council to manage, maintain, and improve its council houses and estates. We manage over 12,000 properties and are committed to making Derby’s estates and places somewhere people are proud and happy to live.
This Roofer role will include working alongside an existing team to ensure that the buildings are safe and well maintained. We want applications from people who want to make a difference and deliver a great service to our tenants.
This role is based in the busy Responsive Maintenance section where you will undertake roofing repairs, making safe, renovations and installations, and work alongside other skilled maintenance operatives in the effective completion of repairs and maintenance to property and buildings managed by Derby Homes. Working on traditional and non-traditional domestic properties means there is no typical day, which adds to the excitement and variety of work you will be doing.
You will be required to successfully complete a driver assessment in order to drive company vehicles which may also be used to commute to and from your place of work.
