We are looking for a support worker to join the Rehousing Engagement Support Team (REST). REST delivers outreach and in-reach activities to support rough sleepers in engaging with accommodation provision and the wider support services they require. These roles are integral to the delivery of the service for rough sleepers in and around Derby.
Your skills will include:
- Being able to build trust and positive relationships with marginalised or vulnerable groups.
- Excellent listening, reflecting and interviewing skills, with the proven ability to inspire and create momentum and motivation for change.
- An ability to deliver effective advice, support, motivation and crisis interventions to vulnerable people.
