Job description Location: Ashwood Spencer Academy, Derby, DE24 8FT Hours: Part Time, Term Time Only Contract type: Permanent Ashwood Spencer Academy are looking for a fun, caring, enthusiastic and proactive Play Leader to join our friendly team.
The successful candidate will play a key role in helping making lunchtimes a happy, fun, safe and engaging experience for our pupils.
We are looking for someone who:
• Is patient, tolerant, sympathetic and fair
• Can initiate play and encourage children to be the best version of themselves
• Is hard working and conscientious
• Has excellent listening skills
• Can work independently, show initiative and stay calm under pressure
• Has an ability to build strong, trusting relationships Ashwood Spencer Academy joined Spencer Academies Trust in November **** and has gone from strength to strength each academic year.
We have approximately 675 pupils on roll from nursery to year 6 and we are proud of our changing, diverse school community.
