Job Details Public Protection Officer (5.5 Roles Available) Salary: Grade F £30,024 - £32,597 a year Location: The Council House Hours: 37 hours a week Contract type: Permanent Responsibilities Our Public Protection Officers play a vital role within the community Safety Team, leading on tackling environmental crime and antisocial behaviour. Key duties include issuing Fixed Penalty Notices, Community Protection Warnings, enforcing Public Space Protection Orders, and conducting visible proactive patrols. Officers build relationships with communities, businesses, community groups and other statutory services, attending partnership and public meetings, and working collaboratively to ensure the city’s streets, parks and open spaces remain safe and welcoming.
