Derby City Council Streetpride Service have vacancies for Full Time Semi-skilled Gardeners (Gardener 2) to carry out basic gardening and general grounds maintenance duties.
Key Responsibilities- Provide a grounds maintenance service on all Derby City Council land, properties and contracts as required, including routine gardening and general upkeep.
- Full manual driving licence.
- Basic occupational experience of grounds maintenance works, including operation of professional equipment such as hedge cutters, mowers, strimmers, etc.
- Reliability, pride in work, commitment to collaborate with colleagues to achieve a good standard of work, understanding of customer satisfaction, willingness to undertake training, and adherence to Health and Safety regulations.
- The role may involve early morning starts at various locations throughout the City of Derby and requires the ability to work seasonal hours throughout the year.
