We are seeking an experienced and qualified Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant to join our Early Years Foundation Stage team. In this rewarding role, you will be responsible for the supervision of children in the classroom, in small groups and on a 1:1 basis, working with children across FS 1 and FS 2.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support and assistance to the class teacher in delivering high-quality early years education.
  • Use emotion-coaching techniques and restorative practice to support children with SEND and emotional needs.
  • Contribute to the planning and preparation of engaging learning activities.
  • Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to the class teacher.
  • Ensure a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience of working with children in an Early Years setting.
  • A good understanding of child development and learning processes.
  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
