Directorate: Chief Executives
Hours: 4 hours a week (potential to increase hours if Library opens more days)
Working pattern: Tuesday & Thursday 4:00pm – 6:00pm
Contract Type: Permanent
Location: Stores Road Depot
Responsibilities
As a Cleaner you will be responsible for supporting our service delivery, ensuring that the library is cleaned and maintained to the required standards. This will be achieved by ensuring that all areas within the site are safely, effectively and efficiently dealt with in accordance with work schedules and the training provided. The post holder will be expected to observe safe working practices in carrying out their cleaning duties. This is an extremely important role as it is at the very front end of our service delivery. As such it is necessary that you are able to work individually or as part of a team. We want our employees to support the Council’s vision to make Derby a safe, strong and ambitious city – and a better place to live, work and visit – the successful candidate will need to be confident and competent and work to a quality standard.
