The Culture Derby Coordinator will play a key role in the start-up and development of Culture Derby. Working closely with the Culture Derby Director the role will lead on small project activity and provide coordination for meetings and events involving a range of partners and stakeholders. The Culture Derby Coordinator will have responsibility for day-to-day functions of Culture Derby including building effective networks, project monitoring and evaluation, reporting to funders, administrative tasks and supporting communications and marketing. Support Derby’s creative communities through developing networks, sharing information and encouraging collaboration Work with artists and small cultural sector organisations, supporting them to access skills development activity and participate in creative opportunities. Support operations of Culture Derby including, coordination of meetings, producing reports, shaping content for communications channels and providing administrative support. About You To be successful in this role, you’ll ideally have… Experience of working within the culture or creative sectors Experience of project coordination and delivery within culture or creative sectors Confidence in hosting and organising events Experience of producing marketing and communication materials including press release and social media content Experience of monitoring and evaluation of project activity and reporting findings Excellent IT and digital literacy skills with confidence in utilising a range of communication channels Confidence in creative thinking, problem-solving and decision making Next Steps
