This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is highly motivated and committed to delivering high-quality, value-for-money services, such as social or educational care or support for children and young people in Derby, through implementing commissioning strategies, plans, and activities.
You will contribute to the strategic planning and commissioning of services for vulnerable children and young people. You will work with a wide range of internal and external partners and support the creation and implementation of commissioning plans and activities. You will provide high-level support on project implementation, service developments, and reviews, following a project management methodology to ensure projects are well-planned, risk-assessed, communicated, and delivered on time. You will possess excellent communication and customer service skills with parents, carers, and stakeholders.

- Support the commissioning of services for vulnerable children and young people by working with various partners
- Provide project support to develop a range of projects
- Undertake consultation exercises to understand the needs and views of customers and citizens
