Hours: 35 hours a week, 39 weeks a year

The Governors of Becket Primary School are seeking to appoint an exceptional Assistant Headteacher to join our ambitious and dedicated leadership team. This is an exciting opportunity to join Becket Primary School at a transformational point in its journey. In September 2026, we move into a brand-new, state-of-the-art school building, providing a superb learning environment for our pupils and staff. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping our future and embedding a culture of excellence as we begin this exciting new chapter.

As Assistant Headteacher, you will lead and coordinate operationally on attendance, behaviour, and safeguarding as Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead (DDSL), whilst supporting the Headteacher to implement school improvement priorities and maintain high standards across the school.
