This is an exciting opportunity to launch your career with a Modern, Resilient and Flexible Local Authority. We are offering an Apprenticeship in our Business Support Hub team including a Business Administration Level 3 qualification. On completion there may be the possibility of a permanent position within the team.
Business Support is Derby City Council\βs centralised administrative service and provides a wide range of services across the different departments within the council. The role is based within the Business Support Hub, we are looking for a motivated, forward thinking person to join our busy team. You will need to be enthusiastic with a professional outlook, positive attitude to work, self-motivated, work as part of a team and focused on achieving your goals and aspirations with a commitment to your own personal development. You will have the opportunity of a mixed working week with two days based in the Council House and the remaining time working from home.
Essential requirements
- Maths and English GCSE Grade 4 and above (A β C) or equivalent.
- Good IT Skills.
- Able to work as part of a team.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Practical approach.
- Ability to understand basic legislative requirements.
