We are looking for a focused and enthusiastic individual to join our busy Accounts Team as an Accounts Officer, based at London Road, Derby.
In this varied role you’ll need to be self-motivated, work in an organised and methodical manner and be able to work to deadlines. You will be involved in:
- Processing and payment of invoices.
- Analysing performance of invoice payments.
- Assisting with training staff on finance systems across the organisation.
- Assist in development and implementation of new finance systems/processes.
- Assist at end of year financial closedown.
- Debt recovery.
- Maintaining accurate data for our associated records, all in relation to the housing management and maintenance of Derby’s council homes.
