We are seeking a professional, compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver high‑standard clinical care while ensuring an exceptional customer experience. The RN will assess suitability for piercing procedures, perform ear and nose piercings using approved techniques, provide after‑care advice, maintain infection‑prevention standards, and ensure compliance with healthcare and retail regulations. This role requires excellent clinical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and confidence working in a customer‑facing retail environment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform ear and nose piercing procedures in accordance with clinical and company protocols
- Conduct client assessments and identify contraindications to piercing
- Obtain informed consent prior to procedures
- Provide accurate after‑care advice and written instructions
- Recognise and manage adverse reactions, allergic responses, or medical concerns
- Maintain accurate client records and consent documentation
- Follow strict infection prevention and control procedures
- Ensure all equipment and treatment areas are cleaned, disinfected, and maintained appropriately
- Safely handle sharps and clinical waste in accordance with regulations
- Deliver excellent customer service in a professional and reassuring manner
- Support nervous clients, including children and young adults
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
- Educate clients on healing processes, jewellery care, and infection prevention
- Promote retail jewellery and after‑care products where appropriate
- Adhere to all Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) standards and professional codes of conduct
- Follow health and safety, safeguarding, and infection control policies
- Maintain compliance with local authority licensing and piercing regulations
- Participate in mandatory training and continuing professional development
- Report incidents, accidents, or clinical concerns according to policy
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) qualification
- Valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
- Degree, Diploma, or Associate qualification in Nursing
- Current CPR certification
- Up‑to‑date immunisation status in line with healthcare requirements
- Infection Prevention and Control training
- First Aid training
- Previous experience performing ear or body piercing procedures
- Retail healthcare or customer service experience
- Experience working with children and families
- Training in cosmetic or aesthetic procedures
