Deputy is a global SaaS remote-first workforce management company with hubs in Sydney, Melbourne, San Francisco and London, plus team members working remotely across the United States. Our platform serves over 1.5 million workers and 375,000 workplaces across 100+ countries. We are backed by top global investors and recently achieved Unicorn status.

At Deputy, we are improving the world of work, one shift at a time, for 80% of the world's workforce: hourly workers. These are the dedicated employees who keep our world running – from baristas to nurses, cleaners to delivery drivers, florists to factory workers. Despite their vital role in society, most workplace technology has focused on those workers who sit behind a desk, but at Deputy, we transform the frontline. When businesses use Deputy, their workplaces thrive – the business is more profitable, compliant, and productive, while the workers are more engaged and happier at work.

We are becoming an AI-native company, a commitment that means you will be empowered (and expected) to use AI tools and thinking in your day-to-day work. You will have the training, support, and freedom to use AI responsibly and creatively to spark ideas, solve problems faster, and unlock new ways of working.

If you are passionate about creating solutions that put people first and helping businesses and their teams thrive, join us at Deputy and make an impact where it matters most.

The Role:

We are seeking a high-energy, agile Growth Marketing Manager to spearhead our digital acquisition efforts in the UK. This is a pivotal role for a rising star who thrives in high-growth scale-up environments. You are a "digital native" who views marketing as a technical challenge to be solved through data, AI, and constant iteration.

Your primary mandate is to engineer a scalable inbound lead engine. While our Demand Generation team focuses on integrated campaign strategy and field events, you will own the technical traffic levers. You are obsessed with lead sources and attribution, ensuring that every pound spent on digital acquisition is optimised for the highest possible ROI.

Responsibilities

  • Own and scale the UK inbound acquisition engine - Build always-on programs designed to scale effectively across brand, demand gen, bottom of funnel and expansion campaigns.
  • Hands-on management of Growth channels - Lead execution across Google Ads, LinkedIn, and other Social platforms. Optimising search, demand gen, and media ecosystems to amplify our message and maximise pipeline impact.
  • Deploy AI agents/sophisticated automation into campaign workflows - Implement automation across bidding, budgets, creative testing, and audience optimisation to improve the scalability and effectiveness of campaigns.
  • Engineer tracking and attribution infrastructure - Own lead source, conversion tracking, and attribution accuracy. Ensure that we are tracking both short-term and long-term benefits of marketing.
  • Drive experimentation at speed - Run structured testing across creative, landing environments, and channel mix - scaling what works quickly.
  • Maximising value - Build relationships with media owners/platforms and negotiate access to additional value, ad credits and access to Beta products.
  • Build a future focused Growth function - Integrate platforms, streamline workflows, and build scalable acquisition infrastructure to ensure Deputy has an industry leading Growth Function.
  • Partner cross-functionally - Work with Design & Content, Sales, and RevOps to improve lead quality, funnel performance, and revenue outcomes. Share learning with other markets.

Skills & Experience

  • Experience: 4–6 years in Growth or Performance Marketing at an agency or in an in-house function working on campaigns targeting SMBs. (Experience in SaaS, Workforce Management, Fintech, or HRTech experience is a major plus).
  • Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Google Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and experimentation tools (Optimizely/VWO). Ideally strong working knowledge of other martech platforms like Marketo & Salesforce.
  • Analytical Rigor: You don’t just report data; you find the "why." SQL knowledge or advanced BI dashboarding (Tableau/Looker) is highly regarded.
  • Creative Hustle: You have the ability to write compelling, commercially-focused copy to hook prospects, and also are able to brief creative teams to take ad assets up a level.
  • Local Market Expertise: Deep understanding of the UK SME and Enterprise landscape.
  • First-principles thinker. Systems builder, not just a "copy and paste" task executor. Energised by the future of AI-driven marketing.

Employee Perks

  • Enjoy a flexible and hybrid work policy, with a dedicated office 1 minute walk from Farringdon Station.
  • Own a piece of Deputy through our Employee Share Ownership Plan (ESOP).
  • Work from home stipend to help you get set up and succeed from home.
  • Benefit from our employee pension matching programme.
  • Access private health and dental insurance.
  • Take paid parental leave to support you and your family.
  • Enjoy additional leave days — including study assistance, celebration days and volunteering.
  • 25 days' holiday plus bank holidays.
  • Feel secure with our income protection scheme for long-term absence due to illness or injury.
  • Get involved with our global working groups; designed for collaboration, belonging and connection.
