This position sits in our Growth Marketing service based in London or Manchester. We combine data, technology, creative content, and paid media to crack brands’ business problems & drive revenue through a variety of digital marketing solutions like ad campaigns, augmented reality, and chatbots.
JOB PURPOSE
As Senior SEO Consultant, you are a true expert when it comes to getting that #1 organic position in Google and beyond. You will be responsible for SEO projects from start to finish. Based on data and with the help of multiple tools you will create long-term SEO strategies, and you will be responsible for extensive technical analysis and creating SEO content strategies. Additionally, you will play a key role in developing and presenting SEO pitches to prospective clients, generating new business opportunities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work on SEO projects from start to finish, managing clients and internal teams
- Confidence to represent DEPT in client meetings, pitches for new business and thought leadership opportunities.
- Supporting the growth of the SEO division in the UK & Ireland, working closely with your EMEA colleagues
- Passionate about the future of SEO - with a hunger to get stuck into all things AI, LLM, GEO & Social Search
- Comfortable working with local and international teams sat remotely to you
- Create long-term SEO strategies which help our clients grow
- Carry out extensive technical analysis, content & authority analysis
- Set up implementation plans and workflows
- Thought leadership by promoting SEO internally at DEPT, but also at clients to create a support base
- Brief content teams
- Play a core role in the Global DEPT SEO community
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Extensive hands-on experience with SEO, preferably at a digital marketing agency
- Are experienced with using SEO tooling like Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, MOZ, Semrush etc
- Demonstrable knowledge and passion for the future of SEO, GEO & social search
- Are looking forward to sharing your knowledge with less experienced people in the team, and pushing the SEO proposition within DEPT
- Have an excellent command of English, both spoken and written
- Are analytical, technical, independent and have good communication skills
