This is an embedded role working directly within the marketing team of a leading consumer mobile app brand, based at their offices in Canary Wharf. The Senior Marketing Operations Manager will act as the operational engine behind marketing, translating business, product, and marketing strategy into integrated plans that deliver clear commercial and customer outcomes.
What you’ll do:
- Partner closely with the Head of Product Marketing to translate business, product, and marketing strategies into integrated marketing plans aligned to commercial and customer objectives.
- Own the end‑to‑end planning and orchestration of major product launches, campaigns, and cross‑functional marketing initiatives.
- Coordinate stakeholders across Marketing, Product, Commercial, Finance, Legal, and Compliance to ensure smooth delivery and alignment.
- Develop integrated campaign plans that connect activity across owned, earned, and paid channels to deliver cohesive customer journeys.
- Act as the operational hub for the marketing function, providing clarity around priorities, dependencies, timelines, budgets, and delivery milestones.
- Support quarterly and annual planning, forecasting, and budget management processes.
- Partner with channel owners to align campaign objectives, media plans, creative development, and delivery schedules.
- Drive accountability across teams and ensure high‑quality execution across all marketing channels.
- Collaborate closely with Product teams to understand roadmaps, launch requirements, and delivery processes, ensuring marketing is effectively integrated into cross‑functional planning.
- Monitor campaign and project performance against agreed objectives and provide regular updates to senior stakeholders.
- Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and trade‑offs, recommending solutions to maintain momentum and effectiveness.
- Work closely with internal creative teams and external agencies to develop strong briefs, manage feedback cycles, and ensure assets are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
- Continuously improve ways of working, helping teams plan, collaborate, and deliver more effectively.
What you bring:
- Significant experience in marketing operations, campaign management, programme management, or related roles, with a proven track record of leading complex cross‑functional initiatives from strategy through to execution.
- Strong strategic mindset with the ability to understand what needs to be delivered and why.
- Broad understanding of the marketing ecosystem and how channels across PR, social, ATL, paid media, partnerships, CRM, web, app, and lifecycle communications work together to drive commercial outcomes.
- Experience developing and delivering integrated marketing plans across owned, earned, and paid channels.
- Strong operational and organisational skills, with experience managing multiple priorities, stakeholders, budgets, and timelines in fast‑paced environments.
- Commercial acumen and confidence working with budgets, forecasts, business cases, and performance metrics.
- Ability to use data and insights to inform decision‑making and prioritisation.
- Experience partnering closely with Product and Technology teams, with a good understanding of product roadmaps, delivery cycles, and launch processes.
- Comfortable operating at both strategic and executional levels, connecting day‑to‑day activity with wider business objectives.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across senior leadership and cross‑functional teams.
- Highly proactive, adaptable, and able to bring structure to ambiguous situations.
- Passionate about improving processes, collaboration, and team effectiveness.
